Arena stadium project
To be Safe carried out the Arena Stadium project in Jerusalem as a subcontractor for Motorola Solutions.
The goal of the project was full coverage of the entire stadium area with high resolution cameras with an emphasis on photographing the stands with facial recognition capability. A unique project of its kind in Israel.
To be Safe designed the communication network and servers for this project and successfully completed the implementation of the project with video surveillance cameras in the stadium that contains over 11,000 seats.
As part of the project, we carried out:
1. Planning the locations of the cameras throughout the stadium, with an emphasis on cameras capable of facial photography in the balconies.
2. Planning the resolution of the cameras according to the need for facial recognition (pixels per meter).
3. Communication and network infrastructure planning, passive and active network equipment according to performance and loads.
4. Planning the IT system, the core servers and the required hardware.
5. Planning a main control room that includes a virtual matrix / video wall and viewing stations.
Further to:
1. Carrying out assimilation and integration into the communication core.
2. The communication core is based on FORTINET company products.
3. The communication core is based on 4x 10Gb Fiber loops.
4. Implementation and integration of the end switches (cameras and workstations).
5. The end switches are based on FORTINET company products.
6. All edge switches are connected to the communication core through 10Gb interfaces between each switch.
7. Implementation and integration into the core servers of the camera management, which included hardware / software adaptations to the environment.
Video Analytics AI server hardware was based on Dell hardware and NVIDIA GPU.
The project eventually included a video surveillance system from the AVIGILON company with the following cameras:
1. AVIGILON H5 Pro 16 and 8 megapixel PRO cameras.
2. AVIGILON H5A 4 megapixel camera.
3. AVIGILON H5 PTZ camera.
